I absolutely loved it! It was funny, romantic and sexy. I can't wait to read more JQs!

I didn't enjoy it so much. The first half was funny and romantic and the second was dark ~ the two styles didn't mesh for me in the same book. I also had trouble with her 'taking advantage' of her husband in her quest for a child ~ then later in the book she told him she didn't mind waiting for a period of time before falling pregnant! Inconsistent.

Would I try her again ~ perhaps.

I think the whole point o Julia Quinn is that she is escapist reading and not to be taken too seriously. I liked her sense of humour and would definitely take another one on holiday. are you sending out any more to people who write to you?

Yours, Cheeky

No opinion on JQ, but I just wanted to say I'm enjoying the blog.

But why is the rum gone?

Just bought Morrigan's Cross and noticed it was a Piatkus. Delighted Nora is trying something different and look forward to reading Nora's version of vampires. Also like MaryJanice Davidson's sexy vampire novels. She has a good style, very today.

Keep 'em coming.
