Brand New Nora!

Dance of the Gods is out now in paperback, and it is the second part of The Circle Trilogy, Nora Roberts’ magical new series of paranormal romances. Six strangers – a sorcerer, a witch, a shape-shifter, scholar, warrior and vampire – find danger, friendship and the chance of love, as they unite in a battle against an ancient evil…

The first title, Morrigan’s Cross, is already available, and begins in 12th Century Ireland when sorcerer Hoyt Mac Cionaoith is visited by the goddess Morrigan who charges him with the ultimate of tasks: saving his and all future worlds. His enemy - the beautiful but deadly vampire queen Lilith - has had over two thousand years’ experience in cruelly killing and changing humans into her own kind. Now, Hoyt must travel across the world, and through time, to find and train the five others Morrigan has prophesised will join him as a circle and do battle against Lilith's army of vampires.

Fate brings him first to Glenna Ward – a modern witch who can make her own kind of magic. Hoyt and Glenna find themselves drawn together, but is their love strong enough to survive not just the battle ahead but the centuries that separate them…?

The new book, Dance of the Gods follows Blair Murphy, a modern-day demon hunter who finds herself training a sorcerer from 12th century Ireland, a witch from New York, a scholar, and a shape-shifter from the mythical land of Gaell, while trying to keep herself from staking the sixth of their circle: a vampire sired by Lilith, the vampire queen they've been charged with defeating.

No stranger to a good fight, Blair finds she has met her match it comes to that handsome and flirtatious shape-shifter Larkin. But will she be able to stay alive long enough to defeat Lilith's army? Or will she find herself falling for the one thing she vowed never to give into again?

The final book in the trilogy will be Valley of Silence, out now in hardback, and you can read all about it here, and the paperback will be coming out in November.

Piatkus Welcomes Keri Arthur & J.R. Ward!

We’re pleased to announce that we have just acquired two exciting paranormal romance authors to our list!

Keri Arthur’s Riley Jenson novels are set in an alternative Australia populated by all manner of supernatural species as well as humans. Riley herself is rare hybrid of werewolf and vampire and subject to strange cravings and desires when the moon is full...She works for Melbourne’s Directorate of Other Races: an organisation created to police the supernatural races - and protect humans from any unwelcome interspecies depravity.

This is a very sexy, exciting dark urban fantasy series that will appeal to fans of Laurel K Hamilton’s Anita Blake books.

Keri, herself, lives in Melbourne where the books are set.

The first three novels in this series, Full Moon Rising, Kissing Sin and Tempting Evil will be published in paperback in April next year.
J R Ward is a New York Times bestseller and has the distinction of writing the sexiest paranormal novels on our list!

The Black Dagger Brotherhood novels are edgy, erotic vampire romances set in New York where a deadly turf war is going on between vampires and their slayers. (The slayers being the bad guys in this!) The Brotherhood is a secret band of six vampire warriors who are defenders of their race, and each gets to star in their own book.

The new novel in this series, Lover Revealed, will also be published in April next year.
