Tales From Hen Weekends ...

It seems like wedding season is in full swing at the moment – despite the inappropriate weather. Everyone I speak to is either getting married, getting engaged, heading abroad for their hen/stag weekends, going to a wedding as a guest, worried about buying gifts … the list goes on!
I got my own third wedding invite of the year last week. I must admit I also have great difficulty buying wedding presents: everybody seems to have everything they need nowadays and, if they don’t, have their own style which is always impossible to emulate! And vouchers are just soooo boring.

So I must thank British author, Olivia Ryan, for at least making my hen night presents an easy option! She’s written a hilarious debut novel, Tales From a Hen Weekend, which makes the perfect gift for any bride-to-be … and will probably make all hen nights we’ve been on seem tame and drama-free!

In Tales From a Hen Weekend, Katie Halliday's about to get married to Matt Davenport after four perfect years together. While Matt is off to Prague with the lads, Katie has arranged to spend her last days of freedom in Dublin with her mum, sister and closest friends – and she’s about to have the adventure of a lifetime …
